Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a role where you can combine hands-on HR management with strategic organisational development ?

Our client is a growing international organisation based in Brussels, with teams across several European countries. As the organisation continues to expand, they are looking for an HR Manager to build and structure their HR function and support their international growth.

This is a broad role with significant autonomy, working closely with leadership and managers across multiple countries.

Your responsibilities as HR Manager

As HR Manager, you will be responsible for developing a lean, scalable and effective HR framework while ensuring excellent day-to-day HR support.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and structuring recruitment processes in line with the organisation's growth plans.
• Overseeing onboarding, offboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
• Ensuring HR policies and practices are compliant across different European jurisdictions.
• Working with external payroll providers and HR partners.
• Developing and implementing HR policies and processes.
• Supporting managers with performance management, employee development and coaching.
• Developing training and learning initiatives.
• Contributing to workforce planning and organisational development.
• Providing HR insights and data to support strategic decision-making.
• Supporting leadership on employee engagement, wellbeing and company culture.
• Advising managers on HR-related matters and contributing to the development of a strong performance culture.

Jouw profiel

Your profile as HR Manager

• You have several years of experience in a broad HR management role , ideally within an international environment.
• You have strong experience in recruitment , ideally across different countries.
• You possess a solid understanding of Belgian employment law and HR compliance , particularly in an international context.
• You have experience with performance management, coaching and employee development .
• You are comfortable building and structuring HR processes in a growing organisation.
• You are both strategic and hands-on, happy to move between long-term projects and operational HR matters.
• You are an excellent communicator and confident stakeholder manager.
• You are fluent in English and French ; additional European languages are an asset.
• You are comfortable working in an environment where priorities evolve quickly and where you can genuinely shape the HR function.
