We are currently looking for a Category Management & Shopper Insights Intern to join our team as soon as possible. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and the position may be filled quickly.

What will you be doing?

As a Category Management Intern, you will be involved in projects that directly influence commercial decisions.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Analysing Nielsen market and category data
• Monitoring brand, category and retailer performance
• Supporting promotional performance analyses
• Following up on field sales insights and customer data
• Preparing customer business reviews
• Assisting in the development of category recommendations
• Supporting assortment and shelving projects
• Working on planograms and in-store recommendations
• Creating presentations and translating data into actionable insights
• Supporting strategic discussions with internal stakeholders

• You must be enrolled as a Bachelor or Master student from a University, Business School or equivalent during the entire internship. Your studies must have an analytic component.
• Interested in FMCG, retail and consumer behaviour
• Strongly analytical and comfortable working with data
• Entrepreneurial and proactive
• Able to transform numbers into recommendations
• Curious to understand how brands grow in the marketplace
• Fluent in English + Dutch and/or French
• Comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint

• Exposure to real business challenges and market-leading brands
• Hands-on experience with Nielsen and category analytics
• Ownership of meaningful projects
• Coaching and mentorship from industry professionals
• Valuable experience in commercial strategy, retail and FMCG
• A strong foundation for future careers in Marketing, Category Management, Sales or Analytics
