The Company
An industrial group active for several decades in the Brussels periphery, this company produces and markets technical equipment for a European professional client base. Finance is at the heart of operations, with flows crossing multiple countries and stakeholders that vary from one file to the next.
Around a hundred people on site, a well-organised accounting team and a work environment that values autonomy without leaving you on your own. The offices are located near Vilvoorde .
Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities
You join the accounting team and take charge of the supplier and client cycle for several group entities .
- Processing and controlling purchase and sales invoices.
- Monitoring payments, reconciling accounts and matching third-party accounts.
- Managing client follow-ups and coordinating with suppliers in English and Dutch.
- Preparing VAT declarations and monitoring current regulatory obligations.
- Participating in monthly and annual closings in support of the team.
- Your responsibilities may evolve over time.
Profile
The Ideal Profile
Education : Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent through experience.
Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable and/or receivable. You are autonomous on day-to-day tasks and comfortable in a high-volume environment.
Technical skills : Good command of Excel. Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
Languages : Fluent Dutch and English are essential for smooth communication with various stakeholders.
