Wat je gaat doen

As a Rigger, you play a crucial role in major lifting projects where safety, precision, and teamwork are essential. You’ll work alongside colleagues to prepare and execute complex lifting activities with mobile cranes and heavy equipment. Projects take place at various (petro)chemical sites in the Antwerp region, so every assignment is unique.

A typical workday starts with a team meeting: you’ll review the project, check lift plans, and go over safety instructions together. You’ll then help assemble and disassemble cranes, properly secure loads, and give clear signals to the crane operator. You stay aware of your surroundings, carry out Last Minute Risk Analyses (LMRA), and regularly inspect lifting equipment. Depending on the project, you’ll work independently or as part of a rigger team.

Jouw vaardigheden & kennis

• You have a technical background (education, work experience, or hobby)


• You speak good English


• You are flexible regarding tasks, hours, and work locations


• You have a category B driver’s license and your own car


• Experience as a rigger or an IS-006/VCA certificate is a plus, but not required (training is provided)


• You enjoy working outdoors, love variety, and are a real team player


• You think logically, take responsibility, and have a keen eye for safety
