Senior AI .Net Engineer

The Digital Workplace team at delaware is looking for a seasoned .NET engineer who understands that AI is a tool, not a destination. Someone who has built systems that run in production, survive the night, and scale under pressure. You will design and implement AI driven solutions within existing enterprise landscapes, where data pipelines, API design, security, and CI/CD matter just as much as the model itself.

We design, deliver, implement and support solutions within the Microsoft 365 technology stack, including Microsoft Copilot, but also other services like SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Planner, Power Platform, and increasingly: custom AI agents built on Azure and .NET.

What will you be doing?

• Design and build AI agent solutions within complex enterprise architectures using .NET and Azure
• Integrate AI capabilities (Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel) into existing business processes and systems
• Own the full stack around AI: data pipelines, APIs, authentication, monitoring, and deployment
• Navigate enterprise constraints: on prem requirements, data residency, security policies, and compliance
• Collaborate with architects and functional leads to translate business problems into technical solutions
• Challenge requirements: ask "why are we building this?" before asking "how do we build this?"
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to our internal AI engineering practices
• Share knowledge with other colleagues in communities and team meetings
