At PwC Legal, you'll be an essential part of a tax team of over 25 passionate tax professionals and tax lawyers working together to provide clients with end-to-end legal and tax solutions.


We're looking for a Junior Accounting & Tax Consultant to join our Tax team as of October 2026, specifically within our Asset Management team . This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting and tax expertise while gaining valuable exposure to the investment fund industry and the financial services sector.



Your impact


As part of our Fund Reporting Services team within our Tax team , you will work on a mix of day-to-day operational support and exciting projects. Your tasks will grow with your skills, but can include:

• Belgian tax data computation - support the team in producing accurate Belgian tax figures for investment funds (SICAVs, mutual funds, private equity funds) distributed on the Belgian market.

• Tax scoping & analysis - contribute to analysing fund portfolios, assessing the tax treatment of investments, and determining the scope of applicable Belgian tax rules.

• Data management & interfaces - help configure and maintain automated data interfaces with fund administrators, ensuring smooth data flows for daily or periodic computations.

• Quality assurance & validation - participate in data checks, tax figures validation, and quality controls to guarantee accurate and timely delivery of results to clients and stakeholders.

• Continuous Learning - develop your skills through training, coaching, and working with the latest digital tools.

You won't just be crunching numbers. You'll learn how Belgian fund taxation really works in practice, how asset managers rely on accurate tax data, and how tax regulations impact the fund industry. You'll have the chance to grow from operational tasks into advising clients and managing projects.



About you

• Degree - You're finishing (or just finished) a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, accounting, tax, or a similar field - or you've got up to 2 years of experience.

• Team player - you like working with others and enjoy being part of a team, but you're also happy to take responsibility and get things done yourself.

• Analytical mindset - you enjoy figuring things out , whether it's tax rules, financial data, or regulatory frameworks - you like solving puzzles and understanding how things work.

• Communication skills - you're good at listening and explaining , and you can talk to people clearly and respectfully.

• Curious & open-minded - you want to keep learning, especially as tax laws and technology evolve.

• Tech-savvy - you're familiar with Excel and data tools; an interest in automation and digital solutions is a plus.

• Interest in AI & digital tools - you've played around with them, or at least you're curious to learn how they can help with work.

• Languages - you speak French and English .
