The role: Serve as the first point of contact for clients seeking technical assistance by phone or email. The IT department is responsible for all IT infrastructure across Belgian and French locations. Main Responsibilities 1. User Support (75% of Time) - Troubleshoot using various diagnostic techniques. - Determine the best solution based on the problem and details provided by users. - Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware and/or software technical issues. - Provide prompt resolution and excellent service to users. - Escalate unresolved issues to the next level (System & Network Admin). - Provide necessary information on IT products or services. - Keep track of incidents and their resolution. - Follow up with users. - Provide feedback on processes and make recommendations for areas of improvement. 2. Projects (10% of Time) - Study various IT projects. - Collaborate on group projects (Docuware, VMware, Ksoft, etc.). 3. Maintenance and Upkeep of IT Equipment (5% of Time) - Ensure proper functioning of IT equipment provided to users. - Update workstations. - Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment. 4. User and Password Management (5% of Time) - Manage passwords for all applications and system accounts. - Keep the password database up to date. - Manage user access rights for each resource and application necessary for their work. 5. Procedure and Documentation Management (5% of Time) - Create and maintain up-to-date IT system procedures. - Provide users with IT procedures to assist them in daily tasks. Your Profile: A background in IT-related education is a great plus. You should have a strong passion for IT and previous experience supporting internal or external users in a similar role. You will enjoy achieving client satisfaction and will take pride in ensuring the best outcomes. Proficiency in both English and French is essential. Due to the nature of this role, the position requires fixed hours from 8 am to 5 pm and does not offer the option for remote work. You would need access to a car due to the company's location.
