Due to the retirement of one of our experienced Business Partners we are looking for a new colleague joining our HR-team in our headquarters in Lommel, Belgium .

You will join a highly professional and experienced HR team, consisting of an HR Manager, 4 HR Business Partners and 3 Payroll Officers.

Job Description:

What you can look forward to as Senior Operations HR Business Partner:

• As Senior HR Business Partner for Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a high-performing organization by combining strong people leadership, constructive labour relations and data-driven decision-making in a dynamic manufacturing environment
• Taking ownership of the full employee lifecycle within the Operations organization, supporting a workforce of approximately 400 employees, predominantly blue-collar workers and their leaders and ensuring alignment between people initiatives and business needs
• Translating workforce data, HR metrics and organizational trends into actionable insights that enable business leaders and the HR Manager to make informed decisions. (Eg. sickness, hiring, exits, policies)
• Building relationships and dialogue with employee union representatives and participating in union delegation meetings, Health & Safety Committee and Work Council, while supporting the achievement of business objectives and ensuring compliance with labour law, collective labour- and company agreements
• Coaching and supporting leaders, contributing to the development of leadership capabilities and helping to build a high-performance culture
• Collaborating closely with HR manager, Payroll, Learning & Development, Recruitment and Operations leaders to deliver a consistent and integrated people strategy

Your profile as Senior Operations HR Business Partner:

• An academic degree in People Management, Economics or a related field, or an equivalent level gained through experience
• Proven experience as a Senior HR Business Partner within an industrial or manufacturing environment, combined with a solid background in labour relations and social dialogue
• Strong expertise across the full employee lifecycle, operating confidently at operational, tactical and strategic levels
• Excellent analytical capabilities and a data-driven mindset, leveraging HR metrics and workforce insights to challenge, influence and support business decisions
• A highly structured and organized approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while driving projects and business initiatives in a disciplined manner
• A proven track record in managing complexity and change, combined with maturity, sound judgement and confidence to constructively challenge stakeholders while maintaining strong relationships
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build effective partnerships with managers, HR colleagues, employee representatives and trade unions
• As a key partner in labour relations and social dialogue, this role requires excellent Dutch and strong English communication skills, together with solid experience within the Belgian labour law and social relations framework
