Senior Manager, Lab Workflow Systems

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Manager to lead the global Lab Workflow Systems portfolio across Therapeutics Development & Supply. This role combines people leadership with portfolio governance to advance digital laboratory systems, data capture, and scientific workflow integration across regulated CMC environments.
Responsibilities
- Build and communicate vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Lab Workflow Systems portfolio with Digital Product Owners
- Lead and mentor a global team of Digital Product Owners with clear accountability and capability development
- Own portfolio-level prioritization, governance, and value realization using adoption and service metrics
- Ensure operational stewardship through lifecycle planning, compliance, audit readiness, and sustainable support models
- Partner with scientific, quality, validation, and technology teams to translate business needs into system and data strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, engineering, or informatics
- 10+ years in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, laboratory informatics, or regulated technology environments
- Demonstrated experience directly managing and developing employees in global settings
- Strong understanding of scientific laboratory workflows and regulated system lifecycles
- Proven track record owning roadmaps, prioritization, and governance across complex ecosystems
- Experience with data integrity, validation, GMP requirements, and service management
- FAIR data principles and laboratory platforms experience preferred
