Transactional Banking & Finance Lawyer - Luxembourg

Introduction : Our client is a leading international law firm with a strong presence in Luxembourg and a highly regarded Banking & Finance practice. Due to continued growth, the team is looking to recruit a Banking & Finance Associate with 3 to 4 years of post-qualification experience. This position is particularly suited to lawyers seeking exposure to sophisticated transactional work, working alongside experienced partners and international clients on complex cross-border financing matters. Responsibilities : Advise domestic and international clients on a broad range of financing transactions. Assist with acquisition finance, leveraged finance, fund finance, real estate finance, asset finance and refinancing transactions. Draft and negotiate finance documentation and security packages. Participate in restructuring and debt refinancing projects. Advise lenders, borrowers, sponsors and investment funds on Luxembourg law aspects of financing transactions. Work closely with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions on cross-border matters. Contribute to business development initiatives and client relationship management. Profile : Qualified lawyer with 3 to 4 years of Banking & Finance experience gained in Luxembourg. Strong exposure to transactional finance matters. Experience in financing, refinancing, security interests and structured finance transactions. Excellent drafting and analytical skills. Fluent in English and French. Ability to work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative environment. Commercial mindset and strong client-facing abilities.
