We are currently looking for an: Accountant (Fixed-Term) The role: Keeping records of financial transactions Preparing interim and annual accounts Preparing monthly and quarterly reporting and communicate the reporting to relevant parties GAAP reconciliation between several GAAPs (US GAAP, UK GAAP, Lux GAAP, and/or IFRS) Calculating tax provisions, and additionally reviewing tax returns Liaising with external parties like tax advisors, auditors, joint venture partners, asset managers, property managers Communicating and coordinating with internal and international departments of Goldman Sachs Responding to administrative/accounting issues and answering queries Preparation of distribution memorandums Administrative compliance Administrative follow up and filing The profile: At least bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or equivalent 2 to 5 years of Luxembourg experience either in accounting, audit and/or financial control; ideally with exposure to Private Debt investments Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Team-player with a hands on mentality Ability to work independently and accurately and good organizational skills Good understanding of accounting techniques and procedures Pro-active, service minded Detail oriented and flexibility to respond to and adapt to changes Good working command of spreadsheets a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel We offer: A 5 to 6-month fixed-term contract Competitive salary according to profile...
