Senior SPV Accountant - In-house AIFM - Luxembourg

Our client is a growing Alternative Investment Firm that forms part of a Globally-recognised leading Asset Manager. The company has an office of 30+ staff located in Luxembourg and they are expanding the team! Senior SPV Accountant ● The primary role is for hands-on preparation of bookkeeping / reporting to the funds / preparing financial statements and managing audits when relevant and includes being responsible for the accounting, reporting, cash management and compliance for several companies' part of the investment funds in close collaboration with his/her manager; ● Ensures any information which forms part of the reporting but which comes from a service provider is correct and accounted for correctly as per local GAAP and liaises with the parties in case of queries; ● Ensures compliance with law and regulations (including tax regulations, filing tax returns and other requirements); ● Builds relationships, liaises and communicates with internal and external parties; ● Calculates liquidity for analysis of shortfall or excess; ● Supports the internal and external board members in making data-driven decisions; ● Works together with the Senior Manager, deal team, legal advisors and compliance on the current investments held by companies and, when relevant, to streamline deal closings. Requirements: ● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accountancy, Controlling, Business Administration and/or Corporate Finance; ● 3-4 years of working experience at a larger audit firm or at a financial services company and experience in an international working environment; • Knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP.
