We are looking for a Logistic operations officer for a company in Zaventem. The company is specialized in the distribution of chemical products for industrial usage.
As a logistics operations officer you will interact with customers and logistic suppliers, sales managers, etc. Your tasks: You organize and monitor all inbound operations for the assigned product line.
You manage and monitor all logistical operations from purchase order to storage.
You request transport offers from logistical partners.
You update the offer data base, assuring optimum solutions and cost saving opportunities.
You handle logistical claims and issues related to logistical processes working in close collaboration with the different stakeholders.
You participate and assist in the supply chain projects involving logistical aspects.
You conduct inventory forecasts in cooperation with other departments and coordinate demand and stock replenishment planning.
You monitor and manage stock levels.
You implement and manage the execution of order purchasing policies set up to control and ensure optimum levels of inventory.
You participate and assist with the monthly inventory and align on forecast and order planning with the team manager.
- You are fluent in English.

- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You have knowledge of SAP.

Your profile: - You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics.- You are fluent in English.
- You are a natural problem solver and have a strong sense of ownership.
- You are very analytical.

- You are client-orientated.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You have knowledge of SAP.
