Event Marketing Manager (Part-Time, 24-32h/week)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Event Marketing Manager (Part-Time, 24-32h/week) based in Belgium. This is a fully remote, part-time opportunity for an event marketing professional to own a diverse portfolio of events across Europe. The role covers industry conferences, trade fairs, roundtables, breakfasts, dinners, meetups, webinars, and other digital experiences. You will manage events end-to-end, from researching opportunities and budgeting through logistics, execution, lead capture, and follow-up. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, and leadership, you will ensure each event supports broader go-to-market objectives. The role offers significant autonomy, requiring excellent organization, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. You will work in a fast-moving, international, technology-driven environment where hands-on execution and creative thinking are valued. Selected events may require travel, but regular on-site attendance is not expected for every event. Accountabilities - Own the event calendar from initial research and evaluation through planning, execution, lead management, and post-event follow-up. - Research and source relevant HR, People, Mobility, and industry events across Germany, the DACH region, and Europe, assessing their strategic relevance and budget requirements. - Manage multiple events simultaneously, coordinating timelines, deadlines, vendors, booth logistics, promotional materials, shipping, travel, and accommodation. - Plan and deliver proprietary events such as roundtables, breakfasts, dinners, and meetups, including venue selection, catering, invitations, agendas, speakers, and on-site hosting. - Manage webinars and digital event programs in collaboration with partners and customers, covering topics, speakers, promotion, registration, and follow-up.

- Drive event attendance and lead generation through pre-event outreach, invitations, on-site engagement, and structured lead handovers to Sales. - Prepare internal teams for events through briefings, materials, talking points, schedules, and shift plans. - Attend selected events where appropriate and represent the organization professionally with prospects, partners, speakers, and industry contacts. - Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and leadership to align event activities with broader go-to-market priorities. - Continuously evaluate event performance and identify opportunities to improve attendance, engagement, lead quality, and overall event effectiveness. Requirements - Professional proficiency in German and English , with the ability to communicate confidently with German-speaking venues, partners, speakers, prospects, and other stakeholders. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate several events, deadlines, vendors, and deliverables simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. - A proactive, self-starting approach, with the ability to independently identify relevant event opportunities, evaluate their value, and take ownership of booking and execution. - Hands-on mentality and willingness to manage every aspect of event delivery, from small logistical tasks to hosting events and coordinating stakeholders. - Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and solution-oriented when plans change or unexpected issues arise close to an event. - Previous hands-on experience in event marketing, field marketing, B2B marketing, agency work, startup environments, working-student roles, or relevant personal projects is beneficial. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across internal teams and external partners. - Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively with an international team.
